OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
We met in 2019 at work and not long after, found ourselves in the same class together. What started as shared shifts and shared notes quickly turned into something more.
Alyssa made the first move (and, admittedly, made River do most of the work in class), but from the very beginning, it just felt right. What began as an everyday routine soon became something neither of us could imagine life without.
What started as a simple connection has grown into a love we can’t wait to celebrate together, forever
Fast forward to
Over five years ago, we made it official, not sure of what was to come.
Since then, we’ve spent years traveling, laughing, and becoming each other’s home. From moving from Denton to Austin and getting our first apartment together, to starting new jobs side by side, life has been an adventure.
Fast forward to today: we own a house, have settled into New Braunfels, and plan to grow our family in the future!
The proposal
On the 5-year anniversary, he took her to August Vin Winery in Fredericksburg, one of their favorite weekend getaway spots. With a little help from the winery staff, he led her into the middle of the vineyards… and got down on one knee.
Alyssa, in total shock, immediately asked, “Did you ask my parents?!” while secretly, two of her best friends had driven five hours to capture the whole moment.
They spent the weekend celebrating in Fredericksburg, already imagining all the adventures still ahead. It was perfect, magical, and exactly us.
